Further
to the recently released Digital Dictation device, Philips is pleased
to support the WinScribe Digital Dictation software, and announces its
seamless integration with the elite new Digital Pocket Memo series.
Primarily
targeted at mobile workers, who are unable to tie themselves to a PC
but still need speedy processing of their dictation files, the
Philips/WinScribe digital solution offers optimum benefits and
advantages to the end-user.
The audio files are
downloaded to the PC from the digital device via a USB cable and
automatically routed for transcription by WinScribe. The new devices
have further revolutionised the dictation process by introducing a new
LAN Docking Station, meaning that WinScribe users no longer require a
PC to download dictation files - they can now simply connect to
strategically placed docks straight into their LAN/WAN infrastructure.
This innovation will prove more convenient, will boost productivity and
fully automate the download procedure. In addition, the product now
